Rethinking How Associations Work is a series of practical essays about what is still working in associations, what may need updating, and how organizations can begin redesigning themselves for today.

The essays examine membership, conferences, governance, volunteer structures, education, credentials, technology, revenue, organizational capacity, and other parts of the association operating model.

I expect to publish one substantial essay every four to five weeks, with occasional shorter pieces between them. You will receive an email when something meaningful is published rather than on a fixed weekly schedule.
